En français: Montreal schools celebrate Québécois culture

MONTREAL – The 2016 French for the Future forum was held Friday at Westmount High School.

About 500 students from 10 Montreal high schools and three school boards came together to celebrate bilingualism and Québécois culture.

Local French and English artists helped bring the auditorium to life with unique performances.

The forum presents students with an opportunity to be completely immersed in the French language for a day.

This year’s theme was about respect, culture and integration with an environmental flair in honour of Earth Day.
