Etsy is selling them, as is eBay. Pinterest has plenty of inspiration, though, for those who want to make their own.
The trend appears to have taken root in Germany. One elderly couple there became famous for its epic Easter tree, which started with just 18 egg ornaments in 1965 and grew to include 10,000 uniquely-crafted ones. It would apparently take two weeks each year for Christa and Volker Kraft to hang them all from the branches.
Unfortunately, the pair retired the 50-year tradition last year. Climbing the ladder had reportedly become too arduous.

These were some of the decorated Easter eggs in the exhibition of pensioner couple Christa and Volker Kraft's garden in Saalfeld, Germany. Volker Kraft's apple sapling sported just 18 eggs when he first decorated it for Easter. Four decades later, the sturdy tree was festooned with 9,800 eggs, artfully decorated with everything from beads to sea shells.
