Vancouver Police looking for men in connection with stabbing outside nightclub

Vancouver Police are looking for two men in connection with a stabbing outside a Granville Street nightclub on Jan. 9.

Police say around 3 a.m., a 22-year-old North Vancouver man was stabbed during a fight with a group of men outside the Cabana Nightclub at 1150 Granville Street. He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

The group of men fled, but one was arrested and released a short time later.

Police are still looking for two other men who they believe were involved in the fight.

The first was described as a “light-skinned man” in his 20s, with long black hair. He was wearing a white jacket and black pants.

The second was described as a South Asian man, 25-years-old with a medium build. He was wearing a dark baseball hat with a white logo on the front, a black jacket, black pants, and black runners.

Anyone who knows the identity of either of these two men is asked to call the Vancouver Police Major Crime Section at 604-717-2541.
