Investigators have laid charges in connection with a stabbing that was reported on a Saskatchewan reserve. At around 5:25 p.m. CT on March 19, RCMP were called to an injured person on the James Smith First Nation.
A 30-year-old man found suffering from a stab wound was taken to hospital in Melfort and later airlifted to Saskatoon by STARS. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Melfort RCMP say they took a 32-year-old man into custody a couple hours after the initial incident.
Curtis Brian Black, of Prince Albert, is facing charges of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Black has been remanded and is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Melfort provincial court Tuesday.
