Drugs, firearms seized by police during search in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Four men are facing charges following an investigation that took place in Saskatoon’s Riversdale neighbourhood. Police served a search warrant on Thursday evening in the 500-block of Avenue F South.

Police seized methamphetamine, cannabis, a pistol, a rifle and a sawed-off shotgun.

Seven people were taken into custody by members of the guns and gangs unit.

The men, aged 18, 25, 26 and 30, all face a variety of charges related to illicit drugs and weapons. Police anticipate more charges will be laid as the investigation continues.

The three other people taken into custody have been released.
