Dan D’Autremont of the Sask. Party has won the Cannington riding with 6,375 votes beating out the NDP’s Nathaniel Cole who got 667 votes.

Boundaries: The southeastern most riding in Saskatchewan, the district is roughly bordered by Fillmore and Wawota to the north, and roughly Lampman and Frobisher to the west.
Last Election: D’Autremont defeated NDP candidate Todd Gervais by 3700 votes, 76-15 per cent.
History: The riding was established prior to the 1975, and since then has only been held by two people—Progressive Conservative MLA Eric Berntson from 1975 to 1991, and D’Autremont since. The NDP has never received more than 29 per cent in Cannington.
