TORONTO – Police are investigating four separate stabbing incidents that occurred over a 3-hour period spanning Friday night and early Saturday morning.
In the first incident, police were called to 70 Thorncliffe Park Drive around 11:30 p.m. They reportedly had to search the building for the victim, who tried to flee from paramedics.
The victim was transported to Sunnybrook hospital with serious injuries. He is not speaking to police and no suspect information has been released.
Minutes later, police responded to a double stabbing at 30 Wingarden Court, near Finch Avnue East and Markham Road. A 26-year-old woman and 33-year-old man were both transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 28-year-old man was taken into custody.
The third incident took place outside a nightclub in the city’s downtown core. Police received a call at 12:27 a.m. after a 27-year-old man was stabbed following a dispute at Crocodile Rock, near Adelaide and Simcoe Streets.
The victim was able to walk away from the scene with non-life-threatening injuries and call for help. Police have not released any suspect information.

A fourth stabbing took place at a bar near Kennedy and Ellesmere Roads at approximately 2 a.m. Police said a victim in his 20s was transported to hospital in serious condition.
He is not cooperating with police and they have not released any information on a suspect.
In other incidents, police also responded to a call of a person running around a building with a meat cleaver in the Kingston Road and Mimico Creek around 1 a.m., and another another incident near Yonge Street and Chatsworth Drive, where a person reported being chased by a knife-wielding man.
In another case, police investigated reports of a person walking around Sentinel and The Pond Roads with a steak knife, then later tweeted that it “was a misunderstanding.”
