Summary:Held by Conservative MP Andrew Saxton since 2008, North Vancouver is a riding where all four parties feel they have a plausible chance of winning.

Boundaries: A riding made significantly smaller in redistribution, North Vancouver includes all of the City of North Vancouver, and virtually all parts of the District of North Vancouver west of Seymour Creek.

Last Election: Andrew Saxton defeated Liberal candidate Taleeb Noormohamed by 19 per cent.

History: Popular former mayor Don Bell won the riding for the Liberals in 2004 and 2006, but otherwise the riding has gone to right-wing parties.

Provincially, has been the stronghold of the Liberal Party, both when it was a centrist party in the 1970s and 1980s and a more right-wing party in present day.
