Kinder Morgan has asked the provincial government for access to three provincial parks and one protected grassland under the Provincial Protected Area Boundary Adjustment Policy. They are:

  • Finn Creek Provincial Park
  • North Thompson River Provincial Park
  • Lac Du Bois Grasslands Protected Area
  • Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park

Kinder Morgan plans to double their existing pipeline, tripling Trans Mountain’s capacity to 890,000 barrels a day. The application is subject to court challenges and National Energy Board approval.

You can send comments on the application to BC Parks until October 12.
