Waterloo Regional Police have released images of a man they are looking to speak with in connection to a recent robbery in Kitchener.

Police say the robbery occurred at a store near Fischer-Hallman Road and Ottawa Street on Monday at around 5:30 p.m.

They say officers were told that a man went into the store before telling an employee that he had a gun and demanded cash.

He then left and took off from the area, according to a release.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call them at 519-570-9777 or if they wish to remain anonymous, they can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
