Officials from Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency (HRFE) and the Department of Natural Resources and Renewables provided an update Friday afternoon regarding efforts to combat the ongoing wildfires across the Halifax, N.S. region. Fire Chief Ken Stuebing said it was “a pretty good day” before updating three local areas on their evacuation status.
