Alberta wildfires: Province to lower fire ban to restrictions in certain areas

The province will be lowering a fire ban to a fire restriction in certain parts of the forest protection area of Alberta, allowing some fires in specific locations. The Fort McMurray and High Level Forest areas along with Yellowhead County will remain under a fire ban.
