After it was announced that the Toronto Maple Leafs organization and general manager Kyle Dubas were “parting ways” on Friday, team president Brendan Shanahan said that some of the further personnel moves “have to be the responsibility of the new general manager.” When discussing his search for a new GM, Shanahan said, “I want to be very thoughtful and thorough but I do think it is a priority and it has to happen rather soon.”
