The new head of the Montreal police force has been praised for the direction he has outlined for the SPVM, this after celebrating 100 days in office on Monday. But a coalition of community groups is criticizing the force’s new vision saying it places too much of an emphasis on policing for public safety. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
