Fire risk in Alberta even more extreme than 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire

It’s even more dry across Alberta right now than it was when Fort McMurray went up in flames in 2016. Experts say between the low humidity, hot weather and strong winds, conditions are prime, not only for wildfires to start, but also to spread. As Sarah Ryan explains, fire bans are popping up all over in an effort to prevent human-caused blazes.
