Federal government steps up with funding for Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc healing centre

The federal government is investing $12.5 million to help build a Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc healing centre. It will also help fund early works on the former Kamloops Indian Residential School after the community voted to preserve the building as a lasting reminder of the harms done by the residential school system.
