Trump says he’ll be arrested as N.Y. prosecutor eyes charges

Former U.S. president Donald Trump told his millions of followers on Saturday morning that he expected to be arrested soon as a New York grand jury investigating hush money payments to women who alleged sexual encounters with him. Even though a Trump lawyer and spokesperson said there had been no communication from prosecutors, Trump made the declaration on his social media platform he expected to be taken into custody on Tuesday and called on his supporters to protest.
