Virtual reality technology allows long-term care residents to experience anything and everything their heart desires
Description
February 24, 2023
If you are elderly or have mobility issues, getting out to do some of the things you love or have always wanted to do can be challenging, even impossible. But Virtual reality technology makes everything and anything possible giving users as close of an experience as possible to the real thing--whether it's skiing, skydiving or travelling around the globe. And now the technology is being used at long term care homes in the Okanagan and as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, it seems to be a big hit.
