Trudeau says provinces accountable for own health-care spending following federal deal

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told media on Thursday that the onus on properly investing federal funding for health care is on the provinces themselves. He likened this to Canada’s childcare deals made with each province and territory. This comes after Trudeau said his government has signed health-care agreements in principle with all four Atlantic provinces and Ontario.
