A new city of Montreal pedestrian-safety initiative in Ville-Marie will focus on the busy neighbourhood where a Ukrainian girl was killed in a hit and run in December 2022. Several streets will become one-way only but not everyone is convinced the measures will help. Global’s Gloria Henriquez reports.
