‘Historic storms are no longer historic’: NY Governor Hochul warns about increasing deadly extreme weather

During a news conference on Monday, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul warned that climate change has increased the frequency of deadly extreme weather across the U.S. and the need for future preparations. “Historic storms are no longer historic to us. That’s become a way of life in our state and that’s a result of climate change,” Hochul also warned, “All of us, in state and county-level government, know we have to prepare for the next big one.”
