Vancouver police release details of major probe of Downtown Eastside crime ring

Insp. Phil Heard of the Vancouver Police Department’s organized crime section unveils items seized by Project Torque, an investigation targeting an organized crime ring in manufacturing and trafficking of toxic street drugs. The investigation, launched in November 2021, took $3 million in drugs, guns and cash off the streets.
