Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry François-Philippe Champagne said Monday, during a press conference in Montreal, Que., that the city’s new Moderna vaccine manufacturing facility is expected to be up and running by 2024. Champagne said the government has not invested in the construction of the new facility but has committed to buying a number of vaccines, including those, he said, that would target specific types of cancer.
