A major move was made by the City of Montreal to preserve green space on the Island of Montreal. The city has purchased a large piece of property from Hydro-Québec with the intent of keeping it from being developed. As Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, it’s the latest effort to increase biodiversity and fight climate change.
