A tent fire at Kelowna’s homeless camp highlights urgency in getting more shelter spaces open

The tent fire and close call at the outdoor homeless camp in Kelowna yesterday has many growing increasingly concerned about some of the city’s most vulnerable residents. As the weather gets colder, many are turning to heating sources that pose a danger. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
