Wed, Oct 23: Canadian high school scientist Maya Burhanpurkar is a 14-year-old science whiz. She recently returned from a two-week fact-finding mission to the Canadian Arctic, where she studied cultural practices of Canada’s Northern communities. The teenager has also been involved with Microsoft YouthSpark, a global initiative that aims to create opportunities for 300 million youth around the world by 2015.
