Biden did not have fever after testing positive for COVID-19, White House insists

At the White House news briefing on Friday, a letter released by U.S. President Joe Biden’s personal physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, indicated that Biden experienced an elevated temperature of 99.4 degrees Fahrenheit (37.4 degrees Celsius) the night before. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and COVID-19 co-ordinator Dr. Ashish Jha insisted that this temperature is within a normal range, and does not qualify for a low-grade fever.
