Footage of White House security staff worrying over then-vice-president Mike Pence’s safety as rioters came within feet of his office was shown in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot hearing on Thursday. Democratic committee member Elaine Luria told the court Pence was held in his office right off the senate chamber for 13 minutes while the secret service worked to clear a secure path.
