Responding to charges by Ottawa police, Ontario MPP Randy Hillier said Monday “different and dissenting views are now apparently criminal in our country.” Hillier is facing nine charges with allegations stemming from this year’s so-called “freedom convoy” that occupied downtown Ottawa.
