Speaking at a World Health Organization (WHO) news conference on Wednesday, executive director of the WHO’s Health Emergencies Programme Michael Ryan said that the health system in Ukraine was “teetering on the brink” of collapse as hospitals and facilities are being targeted, making it impossible to send help or manpower as that would only further endanger more health-care workers.
