Family of 4 found dead at Manitoba-U.S. border was case of ‘human smuggling,’ RCMP say

Manitoba RCMP provided new details Thursday about the four people found dead at the Manitoba-U.S. border, saying that the family arrived in Toronto, Ont., on Jan. 12 before travelling to Emerson, Man. Chief Supt. Rob Hill said no vehicle was found near the border and that investigators believe it was a case of “human smuggling.”
