COVID-19: Unvaccinated continue to drive up Manitoba hospitalization numbers, official says
Description
December 30, 2021
Manitoba’s chief nursing officer Lanette Siragusa said on Thursday the province’s ICU numbers remain elevated “well above” pre-pandemic baseline capacities, and that unvaccinated individuals “continue to drive the numbers in our care.” Siragusa added that people who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are 26 times more likely to be admitted to ICU.
