B.C.’s Health Minister Adrian Dix said Tuesday that in order to protect the province’s hospital system pre-emptively, non-urgent scheduled surgeries will start to be postponed early next year, starting on Jan. 4, 2022. Emergency and urgent surgeries will still go ahead.
