COVID-19: New Brunswick implementing targeted isolation measures to combat virus spread

November 18, 2021
New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs announced on Thursday that the province would be implementing updated COVID-19 isolation measures to tackle a rise in outbreaks. Beginning Friday, individuals in a household with someone who tests positive for COVID-19 must all self-isolate, regardless of their vaccination status. Fully vaccinated members of the household are able to leave if they test negative for the virus on their fifth day of isolation, said Higgs.

New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs announced on Thursday that the province would be implementing updated COVID-19 isolation measures to tackle a rise in outbreaks. Beginning Friday, individuals in a household with someone who tests positive for COVID-19 must all self-isolate, regardless of their vaccination status. Fully vaccinated members of the household are able to leave if they test negative for the virus on their fifth day of isolation, said Higgs.
