The COVID collapse of air travel has revealed a gap in the protections offered by what’s known as Canada’s air passenger ‘bill of rights’. The federal government is working on new rules but as Consumer Matters reporter Anne Drewa explains, the country’s independent airline watchdog says the proposed changes don’t go far enough.
