A new E-mobility pilot project in B.C. will soon allow people in six B.C. communities including Vernon and Kelowna, to ride electric kick scooters on municipal roads as opposed to being confined to private property and trails. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure plans to work with each municipality to assess e-scooters as safe mode of transportation as part of the province’s Active Transportation Strategy.
