B.C.’s health minister was not mincing words over the problem-plagued rollout of the vaccinations registration centre. Adrian Dix says Telus, which was hired as the call centre provider, dropped the ball and simply wasn’t prepared when the phone lines went live at 7 a.m. Monday. Darren Entwistle, the president and CEO of Telus, has issued a statement accepting the blame for the reservation system failure.
