Merrick Garland, Biden’s AG pick, says he will make probe into Capitol riot a top priority

Merrick Garland, President Joe Biden’s pick for attorney general, on Monday during his confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee said that if confirmed he would make the probe into the Capitol riot a top priority. He said he would look “upstream,” not just at those who stormed the Capitol building but anyone else who may have had involvement.
