Coronavirus: Fauci says Moderna, Pfizer vaccines less effective against South Africa variant

Top U.S. infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci on Monday said the coronavirus variant from the United Kingdom will become the dominant strain in the country by the end of March, adding the vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer are still quite effective against that variant, but less so against the variant from South Africa.
