U.S. president-elect Joe Biden on Thursday spoke about the Capitol building riot on Wednesday and compared the response by law enforcement during the anti-racism protest to what was seen in Washington, D.C. He said that “no one can tell me” if it had been a Black Lives Matter (BLM) protest, they “wouldn’t have been treated very, very differently than the mob of thugs who stormed the capitol.” He said it was “totally unacceptable.”
