Speaking at the COVID-19 briefing on Monday, provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry is asked about her concerns about a post-holiday spike in COVID-19 cases in B.C. Henry says even though it is “human nature to want to be together” it is dangerous to gather during the holidays and “we are so close” now that the vaccine is here.
