Though the COVID 19 pandemic has taken centre stage, there’s another health crisis raging behind the scenes. Peterborough continues to grapple with opioid overdoses, and the number of fatalities in the region continues to rise.
It has prompted Peterborough Public Health to push for more training on Naloxone, an anti-overdose drug available at pharmacies and health care centres.
