U.S. election: Michigan’s largest county certifies results after initial Republican delay

Wayne County, Michigan’s largest county which also includes the city of Detroit, certified its election results on Tuesday night but it came after the two Republicans on the county’s board of canvassers, which is tasked with certification, initially refused to certify. Following a public Zoom call that saw dozens of people criticize the Republicans, the results were certified, sending the results to the state’s board to certify the winner of Michigan’s electoral votes.
