Coronavirus: Manitoba’s top doctor says COVID-19 case wasn’t ‘acquired’ within school

Manitoba’s chief provincial public health officer, Dr. Brent Roussin, said Thursday that health officials had expected to see a case of COVID-19 following schools reopening in the province after a student at Churchill High School tested positive for the virus. He emphasized that the case was not “acquired” within the school.
