Trump claims mail-in voting could lead to people never knowing election result, suggests moving up date

U.S. President Donald Trump continued to criticize mail-in voting on Friday, just a day after his political allies and opponents rejected his suggestion to delay the 2020 presidential election. He stressed that absentee ballots are “great” but mail-in voting could lead to people not knowing the result for weeks, months or years and claimed people might “never know” the results of the election. He also suggested moving up election day.
