Coronavirus: COVID-19 cases reach 10 million globally, WHO reflects on progress made and lessons learned

As the number of COVID-19 cases reaches 10 million globally, with 500,000 deaths worldwide, World Health Organization (WHO) director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Monday that it’s a moment to “reflect on the progress we have made and the lessons we have learned” amid the pandemic. He added that it is also a time to “recommit ourselves to doing everything we can to save lives.”
