U.S. attorney says drugs detrimental to public health, especially during coronavirus pandemic

Kennedy Jr. said on Tuesday that the COVID-19 pandemic has shown concerns for public health in communities, but introducing additional drugs “doesn’t advance public health.” These remarks were made during a press conference regarding a “significant drug seizure” at the U.S.-Canada border, after the border had faced a dramatic increase in drug busts in recent months.
