George Floyd death: AG Barr says foreign influence not limited to elections

U.S. attorney general William Barr spoke on Thursday during a press conference about comments made earlier in the briefing regarding foreign actors involved in influencing ongoing protests in response to George Floyd’s death, saying that people cannot think foreign influence is limited to elections and some hackers and groups associated with foreign governments are attempting to exacerbate the protests. He did not name which governments may have involvement, but FBI director Christopher Wray said could use both state TV and social media to cause more controversy, but the U.S. would act if necessary.
