Sisters of Sainte-Anne trying to contain a COVID-19 outbreak
The Sisters of Sainte-Anne’s long term care residence is struggling to contain the spread of COVID-19. Since April 21, six sisters have passed away, some 20 other residents have fallen ill and a dozen staff members have also contracted the virus. On top of that, other staffers are either burned out or too afraid to go back to work. As Global’s Felicia Parrillo explains, the residence needs help.
