Coronavirus outbreak: Manitoba’s top doctor says ‘only reason’ to use hydroxychloroquine is in a clinical trial
Description
May 19, 2020
Manitoba's chief medical officer of health Dr. Brent Roussin said on Tuesday that the "only reason" Manitobans or anyone else should consider using hydroxychloroquine as a method to treat or prevent COVID-19 is if they're part of a clinical trial. Otherwise, Dr. Roussin said he would strongly recommend against it being prescribed to a person for any other reason at this time.
